FOREST & FLOWERS RETREAT LLC POLICIES

By registering for an event, service, or stay at Forest & Flowers Retreat (referred to as “Owner”), the person registered (referred to as “Guest”) acknowledge that s/he has reviewed, understands, and agrees to the following terms and policies.

1. No smoking of any kind, including but not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, vaping or e-cigarettes is permitted in the house OR outside on the property.

2. No animals are permitted on the Property.

3. This is a retreat space and guests agree to be mindful of noise levels.

4. Forest & Flowers Retreat is a working micro-farm. Harvesting flowers or vegetation on the Property is not permitted unless written permission has been given by the Owner.

5. The Property includes nature trails with stumps, rocks, and other uneven terrain, stairs, a deck, fire pit, outdoor tub and outdoor shower area, and various devices and appliances (collectively, the “Amenities”). Other potential hazards include but are not limited to: random wild animal encounters, poison ivy or other skin irritations from plants, bees, and other insects. The Guest assumes all risk of harm to his/her own life or property or that of others’ in his/her use of these amenities and any participation in any activities on the Property are entirely at Guest’s own risk, and Owners are not liable for any harm caused by Guest’s use of the Property or the Amenities.

6. Guest acknowledges that Forest and Flowers Retreat LLC and any other instructors, practitioners, or representatives (“Providers”) offering services to Guests are for the purpose of providing education and support for one’s mental/emotional/physical well-being, which can complement other medical or psychological care the Guest may receive. Providers do not diagnose conditions nor do they prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. In consideration of the services, information, and support received or will hereafter receive, the Guest holds harmless Providers from any or all liability in consequence of such services, information and support given, and release and waive all claim for damage howsoever incurred or to be incurred, as a result of such services, information and support. Facilitators and workshops are subject to change if necessary, based on availability or cancellations, and will be substituted as the discretion of the Owner/Event Host.

7. Owners may enter the Property in the event of an emergency, for the purpose of making repairs to alleviate or prevent such emergency. The Owner will attempt to contact the Guest prior to entry, but may enter without permission from the Guest to repair, alleviate, or prevent damage or an emergency.

8. Guest assumes the risk that the Property could become non-habitable or Guest’s ability to access the Property may be hindered due to acts of God, such as wildfire, floods, mudslides, blizzards, tornadoes, earthquakes, other natural disasters, inclement weather or power outages (collectively, an “Event”). No refunds will be given and Owners are not responsible for the relocation of Guest should the Property become non-habitable due to any such Event. This policy applies even if a mandatory evacuation of the Property or surrounding area is ordered by local, state, or federal authorities.

9. Guest is completely responsible for any and all damage to the Property caused by Guest, whether accidental or caused by Guest’s negligence or willful misconduct. A minimal cleaning fee is added to reservations. Guests agree to complete the list of check-out items in the guidebook. In the event that Guest leaves the Property in such condition that a deeper than standard cleaning is necessary, security deposit money may be taken for compensation.

10. The entry walkway to the house is natural stone and has an uneven surface. The Property also contains a hammock, nature trails with stumps, rocks, and other uneven terrain, stairs, a deck, fire pit, outdoor tub and outdoor shower area, and various devices and appliances (collectively, the “Amenities”). Other potential hazards include but are not limited to: random wild animal encounters, poison ivy or other skin irritations from plants, bees, and other insects. By registering for an event, service, or stay at Forest & Flowers Retreat, the Guest(s) acknowledge that s/he has reviewed, understands, and agrees to the terms of this agreement and policies.
