A 3% transaction fee is applied to all reservations, as well as Pennsylvania state 6% and local taxes 5% are added to all reservations. There’s a $400 credit card hold for security deposit 24 hours before check in.
Adults cannot rent the Property on behalf of guests under 25 years old, but children are permitted as long they’re accompanied by an adult.
Note: There’s a stairwell to the basement (area not open to guests) with a railing and a gate, but it’s not “childproof” so be mindful with small children.
The Retreat House sleeps 6 people and this is the maximum occupancy. If you’d like to have any visitors to the property, even if they are not overnight guests, this must be pre-approved by the Owner/Host.
Please enjoy your experience but be mindful of noise levels. Even though you’re in a secluded area, this is a quiet retreat space. No music or loud noise outdoors.
There is one step onto the front porch before entering the single level house. The entry walkway to the house is natural stone and has an uneven surface.
Giant Eagle located in Ellwood City is a regional grocery about 10 minutes away. Bi Lo grocery is in Zelienople about 20 minutes away. Whole Foods Market and Fresh Thyme in Cranberry are 30 minutes drive. Cal’s General Store is a small convenience store less than 10 minutes away in Portersville.
