General Liability
I understand and acknowledge that the programs, services, retreats and events held by Jenni Hulburt and Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC may expose me to many inherent risks, including accidents, injury, illness or even death.
I assume all risks of injuries associated with participation including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, and all other risks being known and appreciated by me. I hereby acknowledge my responsibility in communicating any physical and psychological concerns that might conflict with participation in activity, and my choice to participate in any activities.
I acknowledge that Jenni Hulburt, Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC, and any other instructors, practitioners, or representatives (“Providers”) offering services to Guests are for the purpose of providing education. Providers do not diagnose conditions nor do they prescribe or perform medical treatment.
Facilitators and workshops are subject to change if necessary, based on availability or cancellations, and will be substituted as the discretion of the Event Host.
I agree, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, to HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVE, AND RELEASE Jenni Hulburt and Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC, its managers, contractors, event facilitators, agents, employees, organizers, representatives, and successors from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, or claims of any kind arising out of my participation in Jenni Hulburt and Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC programs, retreats, services and/or events.
Photo Release
I agree to grant Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. Understanding and agreeing that all photos will become the property of Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC and will not be returned. I agree to irrevocably authorize Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any business marketing or lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo.
Property Policies
I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies:
- No smoking on the property inside or outside, including but not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, vaping or e-cigarettes.
- No animals are permitted on the property.
- Please enjoy your experience but be mindful of noise levels. Even though you’re in a secluded area, this is a quiet retreat space. No music or loud noise outdoors.
- The Retreat House is a no shoes space. Guests should remove shoes inside the door on the floor mat, as it helps with cleanliness and preservation of the space.
- No vehicles should be driven or parked anywhere that’s not paved.
- The entry walkway to the house is natural stone and has an uneven surface. There is one step onto the front porch before entering the single level house.
- Enjoy the natural beauty of the outdoors but be mindful of inherent natural risks. The guest assumes all risk of harm. Owners are not liable for any harm caused by guests’ use of the property or the amenities.
- You’re responsible for reporting any damage to the property during your stay. Any excessive cleaning, replacement or repairs needed will be deducted from the security deposit.
- Harvesting flowers or vegetation on the Property is not permitted unless written permission has been given by the Event Facilitator/Owner.
Forest & Flowers Retreat LLC is not liable for any harm caused by Guest’s use of the Property or the Amenities. By my signature I indicate that I have read and understand this Waiver of Liability, Property Polices, and Photo Release. I am aware that this is a waiver and a release of liability, and photo consent and I voluntarily agree to its terms.
